Current Outside Activities:

Special Friends - A program sponsored by the YMCA of Arlington and Mental Health/Mental Retardation of Tarrant County.
Miracle League - The Miracle Fields of DFW co-partnered with the YMCA, Texas Rangers and the City of Arlington to make it possible for any child to be able to play ball no matter what special needs that child may have.

The mission of Special Friends/Locomotion is to create programs and activities that promote fitness, respect, honesty, caring and responsibility towards people with various developmental disabilities in order that they may achieve lives with purpose and satisfaction to improve not only their lives, but the lives of others. My mission is to educate the citizens in Arlington and beyond that adults with special needs can contribute to the community they live in.
Miracle League is a non-profit program whose mission is to provide special needs children the opportunity to play the game of baseball on synthetic turf, custom-designed fields. Every child deserves a chance to play baseball. Every Parent deserves a chance to sit in the stands and exhibit pride in their child's accomplishments.

I have spoken a fund raiser dinner for the YMCA board members and donors at the Mira Vista Country Club, Fort Worth, Texas July, 2006 about Miracle League.
I spoke at the Kiwannis Club monthly meeting at the First Baptist Church, Arlington, Texas in Oct., 2006 concerning Special Friends/Miracle League.
